Relationship Counsellors & Couples Counsellors with Current Openings

Our Couple Counsellors & Relationship Therapists Are Fully Qualified

Anybody can say they are a Couples Counsellor or Relationship Counsellor, but at Here Completely our relationship counsellors hold accredited degrees in Relationship Counselling. Our therapists receive ongoing training to maintain their expertise in their areas of specialty. We also aim to foster an environment of supervision and support within an inclusive work space to ensure that you benefit from the best possible level of treatment.

We think it’s important to be well trained. We think you’ll notice the difference.

Improving Your Couples & Relationship Skills

Perhaps you need a relationship “tune-up”. Or you’re dealing with a relationship that just isn’t working the way you’d like it to. Even if you feel that a relationship is truly broken, you’ll be surprised at just how much counselling can help.

Working with a couples counsellor can help improve relationships through de-escalation, conscious communication and enhanced conflict resolution.

We’ll work to help you improve communication skills and intimacy skills using valuable techniques such as Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT). EFT aims to help you develop emotional literacy and emotional intelligence, enhancing your ability to deal with life’s problems and leading to harmony with others. EFT recognises that working with emotions is the key to awareness, then acceptance, expression and finally transformation, helping you move towards your goals.

Want Help With Your Relationship?

Graceful Separation Counselling

When you’ve decided it’s no longer working, we want to help you separate gracefully.

We know you are going through one of the worst possible experiences that life has to give.

We’ll help you establish effective boundaries while teaching you the self care techniques that will allow you to work through the sadness, stress, anxiety, anger and sense of loss that comes with a relationship breakup. Helping you move forward to a better version of you.

Our resident expert Danielle Lass is skilled in child-focused separation, particularly in instances when the Family Court is involved. Her work focuses on you individually, not as a couple, which is pretty cool, because Separation Counselling often doesn’t include two.

Whether you’re dealing with a personal partner or with a family member that you wish to go non-contact, we can provide separation counselling either individually or with your partner(s).

Relationship Therapists that are Queer Allies or Queer Identified

Many of our relationship counsellors are queer identified or fierce queer allies. Most have undergone additional training and supervised work within the LGBTQI community.

We’re proud of the competent and skilled help we can offer you and your diverse relationships. And that’s because we are diverse like you and understand that being aware of differences can make all the difference.

Starting Your Relationship Strong with Pre-Marriage Counselling or Re-Marriage Counselling

We want to help your new relationship succeed.

We work with a program called Prepare-Enrich, a comprehensive framework which assists partners in exploring differences and expectations in a supportive and compassionate environment. All the major aspects of a couple’s life together when preparing for longer-term commitment or marriage are discussed.

Our Relationship Counsellors want to support you and help you connect. Ask about working with the Pre-Marriage Counselling or Prepare Enrich and our Resident Expert Rebecca Codrington for Couple Check-up or Pre-marraige Counselling.

Looking for a Sex Positive Therapist? We’ve Got You Covered

We support diversity of all kinds in relationships.

We have poly, kink and BDSM savvy relationship counsellors who are here to help navigate healthy interactions, healthy communication and healthy relationships.

Working with somebody who understands non-traditional sexual interactions and non-monogamy informed relationships can be a game changer. Our BDSM, poly and kink therapists are also skilled relationship counsellors, and may be the perfect match you’re looking for.

We also have therapists who work with sex workers and those who work in the sex industry. We’re very serious about keeping the space safe and non-judgmental so all you have to worry about is what you’re bringing to the table.

Whether you’re seeking a sex-positive therapist who works with kink-identified clients and understands the vast array of kink concepts and practices, a therapist with a comprehensive understanding of BDSM practices in personal life and the workplace, a sex positive therapist who works with sex workers, or a therapist who is skilled with poly or maybe polyamorist themselves, we’ve got you covered. Reach out and find your best fit.

Neurodivergence in Relationship Counselling

A neurodiverse relationship, where one or more participants identify as being on the autism spectrum, can offer unique challenges. Differences in social approaches, communication styles and perspectives can lead to misunderstandings, a lack of emotional connectivity, even feelings of isolation or loneliness.

Relationship work with a partner who is on the spectrum requires a therapist who understands and is skilled in sympathetic, collaborative approaches that encourage clear communication regarding emotional, social, mental and sexual needs.

Sometimes relationships can have intersectionality of neurodivergence such as gender identity differences. We’ve got you covered.

Addiction & Lifestyle Counselling

Addiction does not always mean having a substance use disorder. Unhealthy, unbalanced relationships can occur at any time of your life in relation to things like work, money, sex, the internet, other people, possessions, even one’s own self image.

If you would like to connect with a skilled therapist who can help with addictive behaviour, let us know a little about what’s going on and we can get you connected with somebody who can help you sort it out.

If you’d like to work towards a better life balance, connect with our resident expert Anne Reilly on mindfulness and Buddhist psychotherapy.

Family Relationships

Family therapy focuses on the relationships and the interpersonal dynamics between you and the family in which you are a part of. They may include close and distant family members, by both birth and marriage. Sometimes relationships become strained through changing circumstances such as inheritance issues, marital conflict, stressful events and changed behaviours within individual family members.

Because family systems can be complex, family therapy requires a multidisciplinary approach that aims to improve the quality of communication and interaction between everyone involved.

Our family therapists are fully trained in systemic family therapy, helping to provide you with tools, strategy and vision for dispute resolution and improved family relationships. We also have a resident expert in sibling relationship counselling.
