Counsellor, Psychotherapist, Relationship Counsellor

Buddhist psychotherapy for relationships, patterns, and the parts that won’t be rushed.

Anne Reilly is a Buddhist psychotherapist, counsellor, and relationship therapist in Sydney CBD. Her work is relational, intuitive, and grounded in mindfulness, Buddhist psychology, and deep listening.

Clients often come with anxiety, feeling stuck, relationship difficulties, or patterns that keep repeating. Rather than offering quick fixes or rigid strategies, Anne’s therapy creates space to slow down, notice what is happening, and work with what is present.

The therapeutic relationship is part of the process. How things unfold in session can gently reflect what happens elsewhere in life, creating opportunities for insight, self-understanding, and change.

Anne works with individuals and couples, including neurodivergent clients, LGBTQI+ communities, and people in non-monogamous relationships.

She offers in-person Buddhist psychotherapy, relationship counselling, and online therapy.

What Anne’s About

Anne is the primary provider at Anne Reilly Counselling. She wants you to expand your conscious awareness. She also wants you to be more connected to yourself and your relationships.

She’s part mermaid and can often be found swimming in the surf, or possibly surfing in the surf. She doesn’t much fancy being pigeon-holed in a box but does admit to being a tree hugging forest fairy (brought on by being raised a small town Aussie girl) PLUS a very happy urban city dweller.

When she’s not working you can find her at the sea, or a yoga class, or possibly chanting at a meditation retreat. Her current crush is scuba diving and she is actively pursuing certification. She’s a bit of an enigma being both well grounded and extremely adventurous. We really like having her here. She’s the one who brings the laughter and the lighter side.

Anne’s Credentials

Anne holds a Bachelor of Social Science majoring in Counselling and Mediation, Human Resources and Sociology.

She completed her Post Graduate Diploma in Couples Counselling through Relate in the United Kingdom in 2011.
