Clinical Psychologist
I have struggled with self-confidence throughout my life. Some people call it imposter syndrome. However, I would say it is the fabrication of the mind arising from unwise attention.
In Buddhist Psychotherapy, we focus on cultivating wisdom to help navigate the suffering that is part of human life. Suffering is inevitable, yet it can also be an invitation to understand ourselves more deeply and to discover what truly matters.
I hope you can start your healing journey with me and face the true colours of human life. Every healing journey is unique. Sometimes it is as calm as a still pond; at other times, it can feel like a tsunami. Whatever your path may look like, you do not have to walk it alone.
What Dr Pauline’s About
I have worked as a Clinical Psychologist in Hong Kong, mainly in community mental health services, rehabilitation hostels, and hospital settings. Later, I moved to Sydney and began working in private practice. Looking back, it has been almost 15 years.
My life has been like a roller coaster. It never really settles. A few years ago, when I moved to Australia, I started to appreciate life more, not because everything became smooth, but because I discovered that “change” itself is the only constant. There is something fascinating and creative about watching things change.
If you want to see how your mind creates amazing fabrications, just sit quietly, close your eyes, and observe.
