What Carlie’s About

Carlie is the primary provider at Carlie Pottington Counselling. She has always been drawn to life’s big questions; this curiosity guided her towards a career in Psychology and therapy.

Originally from Brighton in the UK, she dislikes cold weather and bland food, which partly motivated her relocation to Sydney.

She loves nature, the outdoors, and travelling. Mexico stands out as one of her favourite destinations because of its culture, stunning landscapes, and vibrant, flavourful cuisine- the spicier, the better.

The highlight of her time in Mexico was attending Día de Los Muertos in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico’s famous Day of the Dead Festival. This was a bucket list moment for her, especially getting to experience the Mexican people’s more positive relationship with death. This was incredibly profound.

Carlie is passionate about new experiences; she brings a playful and curious energy to her life.

She believes cultivating joy is a vital act of defiance during these tough times.
