Counsellor and Psychotherapist
Antigone is a counsellor and psychotherapist who works collaboratively with clients to empower their progress from surviving to thriving. She is passionate about advocacy and upskills clients to self-advocate. Antigone believes knowledge is power and resources her clients to actively engage in their mental health journey.
What Antigone’s About
Antigone, aka Tiggy, was a singer-songwriter before retraining as a therapist, so she is familiar with self as instrument. Tiggy still continues her passion for music through live performance, always wearing fabulous outfits. After a decade of producing records together, Antigone and her partner produced two children, now awesome teenagers.
Antigone is a second-generation counsellor and grew up in regional NSW with ermaculture parents, seven siblings, a house cow, and a large vegetable patch.
One of Tiggy’s favourite quotes is from Maya Angelou: “My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style”
